This is a genuine Air Compressor which was an accessory for the early VW T2 Baywindow. It is featured in the 1973 and the 1975 manual (I will provide a copy of this). It works well with cigarette lighter charger. In addition inside are two adaptors for bike and ball I think.  Such a Super rare item and a lovely addition.
